What cover is there for terrorism?
You will be covered, subject to the policy terms and conditions, to travel anywhere that the Australian government does not give a specific 'do not travel' warning. If, for example, you were a victim of a terrorist act, you would be covered for medical expenses, etc.
If the government advice was to change to 'do not travel' from a lesser advice such as 'high degree of caution' or 'reconsider need to travel,' then there would be no cover for anything related to the reasons for the advice. Subject to the policy terms and conditions, the Travel Insurance policy would give you the option to cancel before you travel if the advice did change.
